Join the guys for a special episode featuring Dr Alex Garanto. Alex is an Assistant Professor at Departments of Pediatrics and Human Genetics in Radboud University Medical Center. Alex has over a decade of experience working on oligonucleotides based therapies for inherited retinal diseases. Tom and Evan discuss with Alex the complexity of eye, the burden of inherited blindness on patients and the role of pharmaceutical companies in developing gene therapies. The guys also had the opportunity to discuss the importance of negative results and advantages of open access journals among other topics.
